Administrative Board

Matthews Memorial UMC’s lay leadership is an Administrative Board of 12 members who facilitate matters related to finance, trustees, staffing, as well as ministries of nurture, outreach, and witness. Our administrative work and strategic planning are driven by our mission.

These members serve on a rotating basis, are nominated by our congregation Committee on Nominations, and elected by action of the annual Charge Conference.

The Administrative Board currently convenes on the Second Sunday of the month at 12:30 p.m. (after worship). All community members are invited and encouraged to attend to give voice and perspective on the life of the church.
